About the Project

Control boxes typically contain a variety of instruments such as switches, knobs, sliders, and buttons. These are connected to the equipment and are used to control it, allowing operators to start, stop or adjust various functions. These are normally mounted on a concrete base for additional stability and easier access.

After the surface preparation was done, the concrete was patched up prior to the application of MAXON C2M. MAXON C2M resists multiple environmental threats, including ultraviolet light, abrasion, freeze/thaw, thermal shock, salt, fog, and humidity, while also strengthening the bond between metal and concrete. Due to these factors, MAXON C2M was applied to the concrete base and black paint was applied as a topcoat.
