We were tasked to treat the corrosion-affected surfaces of an Oil Rig for a major Oil and Gas company. We were able to offer a sustainable solution that did not require additional efforts for sandblasting or hand tooling.
The project was to treat the corrosion-affected surfaces of an Oil Rig. The client, a major oil and gas company, originally assumed that repair would require sandblasting or hand tooling, but the location of the deck made those procedures highly cost-prohibitive.
After we came on board, we suggested using our CRS and C2M products. They do not require any blasting or hand tooling. All that was necessary was to power wash, degrease, and power wash again. CRS was then applied. After drying, a C2M was applied as a topcoat.
